Bracelets

Many tribes in Uganda and surrounding countries of Africa are known for things they make. The Karamojong women make jewelry from silver, copper and make beaded necklaces and earrings. Then they go down the mountain to sell to the tourist shops. What is sad is they probably only get a couple dollars for their work and the tourist shop will make way, way more.

Christian brought us bracelets. I hope to be able to visit next time and maybe be able to buy some of their beaded necklaces from some of the women. The earrings are made of a bigger wire than will fit in my ears!

  1. How could I get one of the silver bracelets? My wrist are so small most bracelet are too large. The necklace would probably be better.
